Summary of Public Workshops
The Planning Department, in association with the San Francisco Redevelopment Agency and an Urban Design Consultant, held five community workshops on the project. The Workshops focused on Developing alternative Framework Plans, Selecting a Preferred Urban Design Framework Plan, Urban Design issues, including building, streetscape and open space designs, Site Sustainability Features, and Design Guidelines for new development. Community Workshop Summary - August 4, 2007
On August 4th, 2007, the Planning Department held the fifth and final design workshop for the Vistacion Valley / Schlage Lock Master Plan. This workshop focused on design character and building form, with a special examination of building heights across the site per community request. Breakout activities focused on evaluation of design character, and specifically on the topics of buidling facades, retail design, roof design, and incorporation of sustainability. A summary of feedback received through this breakout activity is included here.

Community Workshop Summary - May 5, 2007
On May 5th, 2007, the Planning Department held the fourth workshop for the Vistacion Valley / Schlage Lock Master Plan. This workshop focused on a sustainability strategy and framework for building green on the site, revisited previously discussed key elements including building heights, and provided a final overview of the vision for the site and the overall master plan developed over the course of the workshop series.
